Have you ever wanted to try abstract acrylic painting?
Come and spend the morning with Marnie McKnight in her abstract workshop, where you will be guided through the process of creating your own painting on canvas.
The workshop will give you an introduction to layering, colour balance and texture, while you will enjoy the opportunity to experiment, share ideas and take home your first ready to hang painting!

WHAT TO BRING:
No experience necessary, all materials are provided, all you need to do is wear an apron or some clothes that you don't mind getting paint on.
The workshop will start with practice artworks on paper before moving on to a canvas, where Marnie will guide you through the process of creating your very own acrylic artwork.
There will be the opportunity to purchase snacks and drinks at the venue, with 100% of the cafe profit supporting survivors of modern day slavery here in Australia.
$25 from each workshop ticket will also go directly the The Freedom Hub
Our workshop tickets are non refundable, but if you are aware you will be unable to attend, you may pass your ticket to someone else you wish to come in your place.
In the event you forget to come or you are unable to attend a workshop, the ticket is non transferable after the event.
